1947 – John Bourne & Co is Founded
The Bourne Group journey begins with the founding of John Bourne & Co, supplying agricultural lime and haulage services across Kent.
1997 – Bourne Amenity and Bourne Sport are Established
To meet the increasing demand for high-quality landscaping and sports turf materials, Bourne Amenity is launched—offering specialist soils, aggregates, and dressings. Alongside it, Bourne Sport is formed as a dedicated division focused on the maintenance of natural and synthetic sports surfaces.
2000 – Gardenscape is Launched
Gardenscape, a sister company, is established to supply landscaping products directly to homeowners, landscapers, and trade professionals across the South East.
2016 – Bourne Sport Becomes Independent
Following strong growth and an increasing client base, Bourne Sport separates from Bourne Amenity to become an independent company, delivering expert sports surface care across the region.
